Эксклюзив! В Одессе судили заместителя мэра Котовска, обвиняемого в нарушении Закона "О мерах предотвращения и противодействия коррупции". Сегодня состоялось заседание Аппеляционного суда Одесской области по делу заместителя мэра Котовска Сергея Коваля. Напомним, ранее Котовский горрайонный суд признал Сергея Коваля виновным в нарушении Закона Украины "О мерах предотвращения и противодействия коррупции" в части недопущения совместительства и совмещения работы должностного лица органа местного самоуправления с другими видами деятельности. Чиновнику вменялось в вину то, что он является одним из учредителей предприятия ООО "Ремстройсвязь".

Органы власти больше не смогут предоставлять гражданам Украины информацию о лицах и членах их семьи без их согласия.

Как передает корреспондент «Комментариев», соответствующее решение Конституционного суда во вторник, 24 января огласил глава КСУ Анатолий Головин.

In September 2011 Ukraine joined the Open Government Partnership multi-lateral initiative started by Presidents of the USA and Brazil. Civic organizations decided to help the Government secure commitments to facilitate transparency of governance, involve citizens in this process, fight corruption and harness new technologies in governance processes by establishing a Civic Partnership to support implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative in Ukraine. To coordinate the work of the initiative at the local level, a network of regional coordinators was formed involving the Partnership members. The network's constitutive meeting took place in the vicinity of Kyiv on January 16-17.

Project aim: Returning Kirovohrad municipal markets to actual ownership of territorial community of the city through representation of social interests campaign aimed at legitimating the status of Kirovohrad traditional markets.

Project objectives:

-        Initiating wide public discussion on the real waste of Kirovohrad budget funds as a result of untransparent administering of city market funds;
-        Carrying out an independent civic monitoring of the existing practice of duty collection for the right to conduct trade in the territory of Kirovohrad municipal markets;
-        Drafting jointly with external experts local normative acts aimed at changing the legal status of the city's municipal markets;
-        Carrying out a social representation campaign aimed at having draft normative acts approved by the Kirovohrad Municipal Council.

 

The the aim of the project: The improvement of the ability of Social partnership«For the respectable state purchases» to create the impact on the system of state purchases with the help of the partnership development and measures due the the application of the funds for their activity.

The aim of the initiative is: to enhance the capacity of the civil society institutions to effectively control the process of state procurement in Ukraine and influence formation and realization of state policy in this sphere.

The project purpose is to build the capacity of Ukrainian civil councils to conduct civic anti-corruption expertise through specialized training and consulting support of selected councils.

Purpose of the initiative: creating on the basis of regional civil society activists, average citizens and specialized experts in anti-corruption issues the network of civil society corruption fighters as a permanent coordinated discussion and resource platform for civil society activists interested in practical anti-corruption actions.

The goal of the initiative is: to enhance the capacity of the activists of public organizations of Kirovograd region to effect public policy development by raising the quality of holding the public consultations at the level of local state administrations of Kirovograd region.

The National Integrity System (NIS) comprises the principle governance institutions in a country that are responsible for the fight against corruption and its prevention. When these governance institutions function properly, they provide for effective corruption counteraction, as well as assist in achieving wider goals, for example, connected with ensuring appropriate governance. However, when these institutions are characterised by a lack of appropriate legal regulations, and the practice of their functioning contains inner shortcomings, corruption is likely to thrive, which in its turn has negative effects for economic growth, stable society development and social cohesion.
