At present the Network of dad schools of Kirovohrad region faces lack of information materials on the topic of work of dad schools and on making the idea of responsible fatherhood popular, as well as overcoming gender stereotypes. Partial solution of the existing problem is the support from the Open Ukraine Fund, aimed at publishing information materials of the Network of dad schools of Kirovohrad region.

Aim of the event
Popularize the idea of charity among the children of Kirovohrad region through their participation in fund raising for the needs of children who undergo treatment in central, district and regional children hospitals of Kirovohrad region.

The charity event has 3 main principles at its basis:

• “Each one can be a philanthropist” – this means, that each child who lives in the territory of Kirovohrad region can be a philanthropist;
• “Small miracle-makers of Kirovohrad region” – this means that the children who take part in this event through their help to other children can make miracles;
• “Save the live! You can do it” – this means that the children by their participation in the event improve and save lives of children who undergo treatment in medical institutions of the region.

Мета проекту: вивчення особливостей вступної кампанії до вищих навчальних закладів України 2009 року в розрізі результатів вступної кампанії попереднього року та з акцентом на виявлення й оприлюднення випадків зловживання службовим становищем членами приймальних комісій ВНЗ.

The condition of the civil society development, consolidation principles of regional community organizations in 2009, ways of further development of the community environment of Kirovohrad region in the conditions of financial-economic crisis will be discussed during the conference.

Leaders of Civil Society Organizations and initiative groups of citizens of Kirovohrad region who work in the following spheres are invited to the discussion: work with the children; protection of the handicapped rights; protection of the veterans rights, protection of people who have AIDS; analysis of state policy, charity, youth work, voting rights of citizens, media, legal protection; gender equality; environment; physical culture and sport; trade union movement; culture and traditions; science and technologies; community participation; educational sphere, spirituality.

активизация местных сообществ в решении актуальных проблем местного уровня путем проведения конкурса малых проектов среди общественных организаций и инициативных групп Кировоградской области.

The project presupposes creation of conditions for the development of OPS of Kirovohrad through:

§ creation in Kirovohrad Center of development of local democracy

§ informing the community on the project

§ organizing study visit to Odessa with the aim of studying the best experience of OPS organization

§ conducting in the framework of the work of Local Democracy Development Center a series of four 2-day educational seminars for the representatives of the city initiative groups.

§ working out by the experts the Provision on Organs of Self-Organization of Population in Kirovohrad and conducting the campaign of public pressure for its support.
