TORO representatives Oleksiy Hmara and Anatoliy Stoyan joined a group of experts of the project “Transparent Ukraine. Building of ethical and effective self-government”

2 representatives of Creative Union "Technologeis of Optimum Personality Development" Oleksiy Hmara and Anatoliy Stoyan on the decision of expert group of Pylyp Orlyk Institute for Democracy and Fundation of Local Democracy Development joined the team of experts of Ukrainian-polish project ‘Transparent Ukraine. Building of ethical and effective self-government'.

The above named project sets an ambitious goal: creating of ethical and effective self-government in Ukraine as a condition for further Euro integration, as well as creation of transparent administrating system and introducing it in Ukrainian self-governing communities.

For its achievement it is planned to implement a number of events of informational, consulting, promotional and educational character. Namely:

Seminar in Warshaw (25-26 of July 2008);

Conference in Kiev (12-13 of September 2008);

Cycle of workshops for experts in Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Lviv (first half of  October 2008);

Cycle of workshops and visits for Ukrainian experts to Lublin, Krakiv and Shecyn (first half of November 2008);

Systematic help, consulting and public discussion on the Internet-page www.prozora.org;

Publishing handbook of the Program ‘Transparent Ukraine' - will be distributed in the second half of November)

A group of regional experts for implementation of the Program "Transparent Ukraine" in all the regions of Ukraine in partnership with polish colleagues has been formed in the framework of the project. Experts will have a detailed work plan, methodical handouts, which will allow use similar approaches in the work on the tasks of the Program on the territory of the whole country. Experts and self-governing bodies will have Internet page, which will be a platform for public discussion and an instrument of e-learning. "Transparent Ukraine" will become an element of public discussion in Ukraine - information on the project will be published in the important media.

Participation in the project presupposes special training of the experts both in Ukraine and in Poland. The nearest training will take place 2-4 of October in Cherkasy. Representratives of Chernihiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsa, Odessa regions will take part in the training.

Project "Transparent Ukraine. Creation of effective and ethic self-government in Ukraine" is being implemented by 2 partners:  In Poland - Foundation of Local Democracy Development, in Ukraine - Pylyp Orlyk Institute of Democracy. The project is the next stage of activity for creating effective and ethic self-government in Poland and in Ukraine. Results of the preceding projects are described in the edition "Ethic and effective management. Self-governing sphere." The project is funded through grant program of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Poland.
