Employees of the Department of Punishment Execution in Kirovohrad region and the employees of the establishments of punishment execution together with the representatives of NGOs will take part in the workshop, which will take place on the 10th of September and will be dedicated to defining and solving existing problems of the region as for fighting AIDS epidemic.
Regional NGOs, which cooperate with authorities and deal with AIDS problem and stand for the increased quality of the dialogue between government and community, have initiated the event. The workshop will be conducted by TORO specialists, by specialists from Regional Center of AIDS Prevention and Kirovohrad Regional Center of Social Services for family, children, and youth. It is expected that as a result of the workshop, the participants will work out ways of organization and introduction of complex approach as for giving support to people who stay in punishment execution establishments in Kirovohrad region and have HIV.
The event will take place on the 10th of September in the building of Kirovohrad Regional Center of Social Services for family, children, and youth from 13:00 to 16:00.
The events will be conducted by Davydyak Serhiy Valentynovych - Director of Kirovohrad Regional Center of Social Sevices for family, children, and youth; Lazareva V.M. - doctor of Kirovohrad Regional Center of AIDS Fight and Prevention; Khmara Oleksiy - member of expert group within Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Secretary of Public council withing the Executive Committee of Kirovohrad City Council; Bocharov-Tuz Volodymyr - TORO employee.
