Deputy Head of Kirovohrad regional state administration Tetyana Dmytrenko and representatives of TORO Oleksiy Khmara and Alla Voloshyna agreed upon this during the meeting on the 19th of February.
TORO already has substantial experience in corruption counter action both at local and national levels. The organization coordinated national observation over entrance campaign in 2008 and conducted independent public monitoring over summer recreation of children in Kirovohrad region in 2007-2008. Therefore, as all the participants of the meeting declared that usage of the potential of NGOs in development and execution of measures to overcome corruption in Kirovohrad is capable of increasing their effectiveness.
TORO presented for the overview by Kirovohrad regional state administration its own proposals to the joint action plan of local executive authorities, local government, law machinery and CSOs as for reinforcement of corruption counter action in Kirovohrad region in 2009. During the meeting Tetyana Dmytrenko gave order to the head of cooperation with law machinery department of state administration to work out the proposals of the community till March 1, 2009 in order to suggest the agreed text of the Joint Action Plan to the board of regional state administration.
