Dealing with the solution of problems of local community for many years, TORO activists have many times tried new approaches and ways of interaction with the authorities in media. Wishing to improve the quality of their work, “TORO” team members paid attention to the achievements of Polish colleagues. Their experience and activity results in this sphere can be considered leading for Ukraine. In the framework of the visit the activity of civic organizations, authorities and mass media both at national and local levels was studied. Such an opportunity was granted to civic activists by Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in the framework of the study program for journalists and NGO activists – “Local media and NGO – partnership for the development of civil society”. It is obvious that the best achievements of Polish activists can be seen in “TORO” work in the nearest future.
