Anticorruption initiatives of the new authorities leave aside the sphere of punishment execution of Ukraine. During the year 2010, 1500 civil servants and officials who conduct work regarding corruption prevention, will undergo special professional development training. At the same time there is not a single employee of Criminal-executive system of Ukraine among them.
It looks as if the new authorities decided to support the attitude to educational problems of the employees of criminal-executive system, which is already traditional. If authority initiatives, held in 1998, led to the fact that 47,6 thousand of employees of the Department were left without a specialized higher educational establishment, the new authorities while conducting anticorruption initiatives, left them even without professional development courses in the sphere of corruption counteraction.
Let us remind that the Chief Civil Service in 2010 planned to train 1500 civil servants and officials on the basis of Kyiv National University of Internal Affairs and Academy of Management of Internal Affairs with the program of further training for preventing and counteracting corruption in the authorities.
