О тех, кто «в списках не значится»

Хватит говорить о неистребимости коррупции в Украине. Ведь максимум за полчаса можно найти тех, кто откровенно лоббирует интересы коррупционеров, тем самым (как минимум) способствуя совершению уголовно наказуемых деяний.

Представьте, что вам стало известно, что ваш сосед педофил. Известно не только со слов свидетелей, но из показаний жертв, данных следствия и, более того, из приговора суда о том, что господин Петров принуждал к сожительству несовершеннолетнюю. Будете ли вы это хранить в секрете? Отправлять ребенка в детский сад, где этот негодяй работает, ну, скажем, обычным дворником или даже охранником? Считаете ли вы данную общественно важную информацию – личным делом педофила, позаботитесь ли о том, чтобы никто не лез якобы в частные дела поддонка?

Органы власти больше не смогут предоставлять гражданам Украины информацию о лицах и членах их семьи без их согласия.

Как передает корреспондент «Комментариев», соответствующее решение Конституционного суда во вторник, 24 января огласил глава КСУ Анатолий Головин.

In September 2011 Ukraine joined the Open Government Partnership multi-lateral initiative started by Presidents of the USA and Brazil. Civic organizations decided to help the Government secure commitments to facilitate transparency of governance, involve citizens in this process, fight corruption and harness new technologies in governance processes by establishing a Civic Partnership to support implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative in Ukraine. To coordinate the work of the initiative at the local level, a network of regional coordinators was formed involving the Partnership members. The network's constitutive meeting took place in the vicinity of Kyiv on January 16-17.

On December 9, TORO Creative Union, UNITER partner, organized the roundtable “Instruments of Counteracting Corruption in Ukraine: Practical Experience of CSOs”. 50 representatives of NGOs, embassies, donors, and Ukrainian government participated in the event. They discussed the state anti-corruption policy of Ukraine and the instruments of eradicating corruption. Additionally, TORO presented a public statement to the President of Ukraine concerning the violation of the procedures of adoption of the State Anti-Corruption Program.

Создание специального органа по вопросам антикоррупционной политики отложено

Как стало известно "Ъ", в администрации президента решили отложить создание независимого органа по вопросам антикоррупционной политики (ОАП). В Минюсте обещают, что вскоре вернутся к этому вопросу, однако источники "Ъ" говорят, что работа отложена минимум на два года. Создание ОАП является одним из условий либерализации визового режима с ЕС, но Киев надеется убедить Брюссель отказаться от этого требования. Эксперты отмечают, что аргументы украинской власти могут быть приняты во внимание европейской стороной.

1 декабря истек срок, отведенный Минюсту президентом Виктором Януковичем на подготовку проекта закона о создании специального уполномоченного органа по вопросам антикоррупционной политики. Как стало известно "Ъ", это требование главы государства не будет выполнено. В распоряжении "Ъ" оказалось письмо, направленное в администрацию президента (АП) министром юстиции Александром Лавриновичем. В этом документе чиновник на трех страницах изложил причины, по которым подготовка данного закона на данный момент является нецелесообразной.

Партнерство «Открытое Правительство» (OGP) - это многосторонняя инициатива, официально начатая 20 сентября 2011 года по инициативе президентов США и Бразилии, к которой уде присоединились 48 стран подписантов.

Целью данной инициативы является:

• Обеспечение выполнения правительствами конкретных обязательств в содействии прозрачности государственного управления
• Привлечение граждан к участию в процессах государственного управления
• Борьба с коррупцией
• Использование новых технологий для улучшения государственного управления.

The Ukrainian Civic Alliance “For integrity of public procurement” and the civic institution “Philosophy of the heart” on November 21, 2011 presented to public agents, public institutions, business, journalists and average people the caricatures exhibition “The price of the public procurement in Ukraine”.

Representatives of the civil sector in Ukraine for the first time presented a report at the UN Convention against corruption at the international level. It happened during the conference of Member States to the UN Convention against Corruption, which was held on October, 24-28th   in Marrakesh (Morocco). The report was prepared by Creative Union “TORO” - Contact group Transparency International National Contact in Ukraine, entered the official documents of the Conference.

On September 20, 2011, the wish of Ukraine to join the multi-lateral initiative “Open Government Partnership”, launched by the Presidents of the USA and Brazil and already involving 38 countries of the world, was officially declared by you as the state representative. It is important for us as the active civil society representatives to realize that the government of Ukraine is ready to make a commitment to substantially improve the condition in the following areas in short terms...

Public organizations recently fixed the growth of authorities’ control over their activity. Particular, it concerns the collection of information about the PO, which is gathered by the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the official instructions of state administrations to local government.

On October 27, the Ukrainian Civic Alliance “For the integrity of public procurement” presented the caricatures exhibition “The price of the public procurement in Ukraine” for the journalists and society. The present people had an opportunity to estimate the nonsense of some powerful tenders and to vote for those, which were the most comical and illogical.

On the 10^th – 21^st of October, UNITER conducted a trip for a delegation of leading Ukrainian advocacy experts and think-tank analysts to Washington, D.C. The goal of the activity was to provide a view on Ukraine from the ground to Washington-based stakeholders and to brief them on the role and main achievements of CSOs as the drivers for reforms in Ukraine. The program of the trip included a series of briefings with US government officials, visits to US-based NGOs and think tanks (including Transparency International, Carnegie Center, Freedom House, and CIPE), and a public briefing at George Washington University.
