About the Civic Partnership supporting implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative in Ukraine
Our aim is to facilitate proper implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative in Ukraine by involving civic society organizations' potential in this process.
Priority 1:
Developing and advocating the agreed version of the public national plan for implementing the initiative at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
What do we want?
-
to prepare an agreed public version of the draft National Plan for Implementing the Open Government Partnership Initiative based on the priorities of the Ukrainian civic expert community in a joint effort of a group of experts;
-
to take part in the work of the Government Working Group on the Development of the National Plan for Implementing the Initiative;
-
to prompt the Ukrainian Government to include the Partnership's proposals in the final version of the National Plan to be submitted for approval to the initiative's Steering Committee.
Priority 2:
Assisting in organization of wide public consultations to discuss the draft National Plan of the Open Government Partnership Initiative
What do we want?

to form a regional consultant network on implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative involving the Partnership members;

to carry out information and mobilization activities to support the Open Government Partnership initiative in the regions of Ukraine, including dissemination of information materials;

to launch a national hot line on the implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative;
Priority 3:
Informing key target groups about implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative, including interested international organizations
What do we want?

to provide information on the course of implementation of the initiative in Ukraine on a special website www.watchtheogp.org;
-
to provide information about Ukraine's progress in implementing the initiative to diplomatic missions and international organizations;
-
to submit an independent report of civic society organizations on implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative to the Steering Committee of the initiative operating in the USA and Brazil
