Aim of the event
Popularize the idea of charity among the children of Kirovohrad region through their participation in fund raising for the needs of children who undergo treatment in central, district and regional children hospitals of Kirovohrad region.
The charity event has 3 main principles at its basis:
- “Each one can be a philanthropist” – this means, that each child who lives in the territory of Kirovohrad region can be a philanthropist;
- “Small miracle-makers of Kirovohrad region” – this means that the children who take part in this event through their help to other children can make miracles;
- “Save the live! You can do it” – this means that the children by their participation in the event improve and save lives of children who undergo treatment in medical institutions of the region.
Main results of the event:
- The event took place in 13 districts of the region, 2 cities of regional importance and Kirovohrad.
- 3390 children of the region and 23 adults took part in the event as philanthropists.
- Though the event had solely educational character, the philanthropists gave donations in the amount of more than 14450 hryvna and children toys in the amount of more than 1400 items.
- Regional coordinators will buy from the collected funds for children departments of local hospitals: a refrigerator, scales for newly born, a video recorder with the children films; a carpet into the children room; medicine for a number of district hospitals, children nutrition for the children whose parents abandoned them; they will also make repairs in 3 playrooms, they have already supported 2 girls, one of whom got serious burns and the other has recently lost her mother.

We are proud of the fact that the idea of the event was supported by hundreds of people who care; jointly they organized concerts and creative contests for children who undergo treatment in 16 partner hospitals of the region.
We are proud of the work of all the coordinators who had to do their thing against the will of their bosses, local authorities and sometimes the community.
